Welcome to M.I.K.E., the premier roadway to weather data on the worldwide web.
The brainchild of its creators, Mike McCall and Jon Reddick, the purpose of this site is to provide links to reliable and informative weather web sites that are of interest to casual visitors and weather professionals alike. Mike has personally reviewed thousands of weather-related web pages, picked those that he believes to be the most informative and best constructed, and categorized them here as a guide to all those who are interested in meteorology.
All of these sites, as of this writing, are free. If any of these become a subscription service, please let us know.

Mike McCall Professional Meteorologist & Co-Creator of the MIKE Website
Born & raised in Tampa, Florida, Mike attended Florida State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology in 1988. He worked at WTVT in Tampa from 1988 to 1993 as a broadcast meteorologist and weather graphics supervisor. In October of 1992, he was awarded the American Meteorological Society's (AMS) Seal of Approval for excellence in television weathercasting. Mike moved on to Tallahassee to become the Chief Meteorologist at WCTV in the summer of 1993 -- a position he still holds. He still lives there with his wife, Mallory.
While at WCTV, he felt the need to consolidate all of the weather-related websites he surfed on a regular basis. He wanted a "home base" for anyone interestd in weather, from elementary school students to professional meteorologists. He knew what he wanted, but didn't know how to build it; that's when he turned to Jon Reddick, the Senior Newscast Director at WCTV, and up and coming website designer. MIKE is the result of their collaborative efforts.
Hope you enjoy it.

Jon Reddick Television Director, Web Designer & Co-Creator of the MIKE Website
Jon was born & raised in central Florida, then moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State. After graduating in 1994, he found a place to make use of his Communications degree at a local television station, where he met up with Mike McCall.
As his interest in the internet grew, so too did his frustration with the availability of professional internet tools for his trusty Amiga computer. In 1996 he finally broke down and bought a Windows PC and almost instantly developed a new hobby: web building. Since then, he has built several sites which are accessible from his own domain. Some of his recent projects include The Medical Information Network, The Grand Band, USS Khai Tam, MAME CD Support Site, and the Tallahassee Podiatry Site.
Jon lives in Tallahassee with his two favorite people; his wonderful wife, Ro, and his daughter, Dana
By the way, if you like what you see at MIKE, Jon's web design talents are for hire!
